How I take notes

The system, such as it is. Stolen mostly from digital-gardening and zettelkasten people, filed down to what I actually keep doing.

Rules I hold to

• One idea per note. If a note needs two titles, it's two notes.
• Link generously. A note with no links is a dead end; the graph is the value.
• Write the cheatsheet the second time I look something up, not the first.
• Notes are allowed to be wrong and unfinished. garden means exactly that.

Why kinds
